IndiGo Shares Dip as Brokerages Flag Weak Q2; Investec Sees ₹1,000 Cr Loss, Citi Stays Bullish

Shares of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd (IndiGo) slipped 1.5% to ₹5,641.5 on Tuesday after brokerages projected muted September-quarter earnings for India’s largest airline. Investec maintained a ‘Sell’ rating with a target price of ₹4,050, forecasting a pre-tax loss of around ₹1,000 crore in Q2. The brokerage said slower capacity growth will weigh on profitability, while modest yield gains and lower fuel costs will offer limited relief. “With index inclusion behind, we expect the stock to realign with earnings fundamentals,” Investec added. In contrast, Citi remains optimistic, maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating with a target price of ₹7,100, implying a 25% upside. Citi expects Q2 performance to show moderation driven by lower supply, not weak demand, according to a post by NDTV Profit on X. #IndiGo #InterGlobeAviation #AviationStocks #Q2Earnings #Investec #Citi #StockMarket #Airlines #AviationSector #IndiaEquity Would you like me to turn this into a short market flash (2–3 lines) version suitable for social media updates or WhatsApp broadcasts?
