Indus Towers surged over 5% to ₹342 on September 5 after NSE data showed promoter Bharti Airtel bought 68.76 lakh shares between August 25 and September 1 via open market deals. Airtel, already the largest promoter, holds 50% in the company as of June 30. The tower infrastructure firm also received approval to enter African markets, starting with Nigeria, Uganda, and Zambia—its first overseas expansion. Citi maintained a Buy rating with a target of ₹460, implying a 42% upside. Indus Towers has lost 24% in the past year but gained 46% over five years.
