Jupiter Wagons Jumps Over 6% After Securing ₹113 Crore Railways Order

Shares of Jupiter Wagons surged 6.61% to ₹340.30 on the BSE at 9:18 AM on September 11, after its subsidiary, Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory, received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board. The order, valued at ₹113 crore, is for the supply of 9,000 LHB axles for FIAT-IR bogies. This comes on the back of an earlier ₹215 crore order in August 2025 for supplying 5,376 wheelsets for the Vande Bharat project. Despite recent wins, the company had posted a 63% YoY decline in Q1FY26 net profit at ₹32.86 crore, compared to ₹89.23 crore in the same quarter last year. The stock has also corrected 16% in the past three months, currently trading 42.13% below its 52-week high of ₹588 (December 12, 2024) and 25.94% above its 52-week low of ₹270.20 (March 3, 2025).
