Marico Q1 Net Profit Rises 8.2% YoY to ₹513 Cr; Robust Revenue Growth Offset by Margin Pressure
Marico Ltd reported an 8.2% YoY rise in Q1 FY26 net profit to ₹513 crore, while revenue grew 23.3% to ₹3,259 crore, led by broad-based growth. However, EBITDA margin declined to 20.1% from 23.7% due to input cost inflation. India revenue grew 27% YoY, driven by price hikes, despite a 1% volume decline in Parachute. Saffola and Value-Added Hair Oils showed strong performance. International business saw robust growth in MENA (42% CCG) and Bangladesh (17% CCG), while Vietnam remained weak. Marico expects double-digit revenue growth in the medium term, aided by premiumisation, easing inflation, and a strong pipeline in Foods and Digital-first brands like Beardo and Plix. Shares rose 0.53% to ₹714.15 post-results.
