Markets End Mixed; Sensex Falls 1.3%, FIIs Continue Selling, IT Shines

Markets had a volatile week with mixed results. While large- and mid-cap indices fell 1%, the small-cap index stayed flat. The Sensex dropped 1.3% (1,070 points) to 81,118.60, and Nifty50 fell 1.13% to 24,718.60. Foreign investors sold ₹1,246 crore worth of stocks for the fourth week in a row, while domestic investors continued strong buying, investing ₹18,637 crore.
