Premier Explosives Jumps 7% as Telangana Pollution Board Revokes Factory Closure Order
Shares of Premier Explosives surged 7.14% in early trade on September 17 to ₹585.60 on the BSE after the Telangana Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) lifted the closure order on its factory at Katepally Village, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district. The unit had been shut since an accident on April 29, 2025. With the revocation, the company has resumed production activities. The positive development comes alongside other recent milestones, including a ₹7.83 crore defence order from the Ministry of Defence and an IND A- credit rating with Stable outlook from India Ratings and Research. Premier Explosives’ stock is currently 12.2% below its 52-week high of ₹667 (June 6, 2025) but trades 89.55% above its 52-week low of ₹308.95 (April 7, 2025).
