RailTel Rises on Rs 57.48 Crore Bihar Smart Classroom, ICT Lab Project Win
RailTel Corporation of India shares gained 1.71% in early trade on September 17, quoting at ₹403.50 on the BSE, after the company secured a ₹57.48 crore contract from Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation. The project, awarded under the PM-USHA Scheme, involves developing hybrid smart classrooms and ICT labs across colleges and universities in Bihar and is set for completion by March 16, 2026. This follows a series of recent contract wins for RailTel, including a ₹209.78 crore order from Bihar Education Project Council, a ₹32.51 crore order from Panvel Municipal Corporation, and a ₹70.94 crore project from Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation.
