Reliance Power Surges 12% on Q4 Profit, Major Solar+Storage Project Win

Reliance Power shares jumped over 12% on Monday to ₹42.36 after posting a consolidated Q4 net profit of ₹126 crore, reversing a loss of ₹397.56 crore last year. Boosting sentiment further, its subsidiary Reliance NU Energies won India’s largest solar-plus-battery project—350 MW solar and 700 MWh storage—under SJVN’s bidding. The company also repaid ₹5,338 crore in debt in FY25, improving its debt-to-equity ratio to 0.88 from 1.61.
