Rubicon Research Q1 FY26 Profit Jumps 70% Ahead of IPO; Strong US FDA Approvals Boost Outlook

Maharashtra-based Rubicon Research, backed by General Atlantic Singapore, began FY26 on a strong footing with a 69.7% YoY jump in consolidated profit to ₹43.3 crore in the April–June quarter, supported by robust revenue and operating performance. Revenue from operations rose 11.3% YoY to ₹352.5 crore, while EBITDA surged 35.8% to ₹75.3 crore, with margins expanding 386 bps to 21.36%. The pharmaceutical formulations company, focused on regulated markets (particularly the US), secured 5 ANDA approvals and 1 NDA approval from the US FDA during Q1 FY26. As of June 2025, it holds 72 active ANDAs, 9 NDAs, and has 17 products awaiting approval, alongside 63 candidates in development. Rubicon has filed for a ₹1,085 crore IPO, comprising a fresh issue of ₹500 crore and an offer-for-sale of ₹585 crore by General Atlantic Singapore. Ahead of the IPO, a pre-IPO placement saw General Atlantic transfer 51.6 lakh shares worth ₹250 crore to Amansa Investments, reducing its stake from 57.34% to 54.01%. With strong financials, a growing product pipeline, and regulatory approvals, Rubicon’s IPO is poised to attract significant investor interest. #RubiconResearch #Pharma #Q1Results #IPO #USFDA #StockMarket
