Starlink Faces Major Outage, Affects 60,000+ Users Globally

SpaceX’s Starlink suffered a major global outage on Thursday due to an internal software failure. Over 61,000 users in the US and Europe reported disruptions around 3 PM EDT. Starlink confirmed the issue and said a fix was being implemented. Service was restored after 2.5 hours, according to Starlink’s VP of Engineering. Starlink serves over 6 million users in 140+ countries.
