📰 Urban Company Shares Slide 6% as Shareholder Lock-In Ends

Shares of Urban Company fell nearly 6% on December 15 after the expiry of the three-month shareholder lock-in period, dragging the stock to ₹121.40, its lowest level since listing in September. As the lock-in ended, around 4.15 crore shares (3% equity)—valued at approximately ₹535 crore—became eligible for trading, according to Nuvama Alternative & Quantitative Research. The expiry only enables trading and does not necessarily mean immediate selling. Post-IPO Performance Snapshot Listed on September 17 at a 57% premium to the IPO price of ₹103 Hit a post-listing high of ₹201.18 within three sessions Currently ~25% below listing price, but ~18% above IPO price Brokerage Views Morgan Stanley: Underweight, TP ₹117 (growth largely priced in; high churn and supply constraints) Goldman Sachs: Neutral, TP ₹140 (strong execution; premium valuations already reflect outlook) Despite a large addressable market and strong moats, brokerages caution that valuation comfort and growth sustainability will remain key watchpoints going ahead. #UrbanCompany #StockMarketNews #IPOUpdate #LockInExpiry #IndianStocks #EquityMarkets #BrokerageView
