HCL Technologies Jumps 4% on $1.14 Billion AI Deal

HCLTech surged 4.5% to ₹1,126.50 Nifty's top gainer after announcing a $1.14 billion AI deal with a Fortune Global 50 European company. The deal runs July 2026 to December 2031 with a five year extension option giving HCLTech nearly guaranteed revenue through FY32. HCLTech will build and manage an AI-driven digital workplace for the client entirely new business not a renewal. After Accenture's guidance cut crashed IT stocks, this $1.14 billion commitment from a Fortune Global 50 company confirms the opposite global enterprises are actively spending on AI transformation with Indian IT companies. $1.14 billion over 5.5 years ~$207 million annually. More importantly it validates HCLTech's AI capabilities potentially attracting more similar large deals from global clients. $HCLTECH HCLTech's mega AI deal taught me that large multi year deal wins provide revenue visibility and validate AI capabilities, making it essential to track deal announcements alongside quarterly results for IT stocks like HCLTech, $INFY Infosys and $TCS after sector-wide selloffs.
