Auto Sales Numbers for August 2025
1) Mahindra & Mahindra logs total sales of 28,117 tractors in August, up 28.3 per cent over the year-ago period. M&M registers total sales of 75,901 SUVs in August, as against 76,755 units sold a year ago.
2) Royal Enfield registers total sales of 1,14,000 motorcycles in August, marking a jump of 55 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
3) Ashok Leyland registers total sales of 15,239 units in August, up 5 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
4) Eicher VECV logs total sales of 6,331 units in the domestic market in August, marking a rise of 5.0 per cent on a year-on-year basis. Eicher VECV posts total sales of 7,167 trucks and buses (including EVs) in August, marking a 9.5 per cent rise over the 6,543 units sold a year ago.
5) Toyota Kirloskar Motor logs total sales of 34,236 units in August marking an increase of 11 per cent.
6) JSW MG Motor India reports total monthly sales of 6,578 units (wholesales) in August 2025, marking year-on-year growth of 52 per cent.
