1) Wipro Q1 Results Updates: Bengaluru-based IT Services provider Wipro Ltd. reported its results for the June quarter after market hours on Thursday, July 17, becoming the fourth IT company on the Nifty 50 index after TCS, Tech Mahindra and HCLTech to do so. Wipro's revenue in constant currency terms declined by 2% sequentially, which was in-line with expectations and at the mid-point of the guidance of -3.5% to -1.5%. In the June quarter, the company had a total deal contract value of $4.97 billion in constant currency terms, up over 24% on quarter. 4) The company expects this growth in deal wins to continue in the future, its management said, adding that it is seeing strong deal momentum in the Americas region. During the June quarter, the company’s large deal bookings, in constant currency terms, rose around 50% sequentially to $2.67 billion.
