ACME Solar - Shining Bright & Soaring High

ACMESOLAR
ACME Solar has placed one of India’s largest battery energy storage orders, securing over 3.1 GWh of advanced battery systems from global suppliers. These high-efficiency storage units will support firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects across multiple states, with deliveries spread over the next 12–18 months. The move is part of ACME’s strategy to secure components early, optimize costs, and accelerate project execution and revenue realization. The battery systems meet global safety and performance standards and will play a crucial role in stabilizing the grid as renewable energy’s share grows. ACME currently operates about 2,890 MW of renewable capacity, with another 4,080 MW under development across solar, wind, hybrid, and storage-based projects. India’s solar power sector is witnessing a tremendous boom, driven by falling prices of solar modules and battery components, strong policy support, and rising energy demand. The country added over 28 GW of renewable capacity recently, with utility-scale solar leading the way. Projects integrating storage are gaining traction as they ensure round-the-clock power and enhance grid resilience. ACME is well-positioned to benefit from this growth, with in-house engineering and execution capabilities, a growing manufacturing base, and a clear focus on scalable, hybrid renewable models. Its large-scale battery order is not just a milestone for the company but a signal of the maturing solar + storage market in India. With India targeting 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030, the future of solar power is not just bright—it’s transformative. Storage-led solar solutions like those of ACME are set to play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable and energy-secure future for the nation.
