BLS
BLS International Services is not just a visa outsourcing company anymore; it is slowly becoming a broader technology-led citizen services platform. For shareholders, the ₹1,434 crore cash pile and the second growth engine in digital and government services are clear positives, but the big question is whether the company can keep growing without diluting margins.
The company’s latest investor presentation shows that in Q3FY26, consolidated revenue rose 43.6% year-on-year to ₹736.5 crore, while PAT increased 33.1% to ₹170.2 crore. For 9MFY26, revenue climbed 45.5% to ₹2,183.7 crore and PAT increased 36.1% to ₹536.9 crore. EBITDA in Q3FY26 stood at ₹198 crore, with EBITDA margin at 26.9%, compared with 30.8% in Q3FY25.
The strength of BLS lies in its asset-light model, long-term contracts, and upfront fee collection. The company says it is one of the top two players globally in visa and consular outsourcing, operates in 70+ countries, works with 46 client governments, and had a net cash balance of ₹1,306 crore as of 30 September 2025. That kind of cash generation is usually shareholder-friendly because it supports growth, acquisitions, and dividends.
The digital business is also scaling well. In FY25, digital services revenue was ₹540 crore, up from ₹315 crore in FY24, though EBITDA margin in this segment was only 11.0%, lower than the core visa business. This means the second growth engine is real, but it is not yet as profitable as the main business.
For shareholders, the opportunity is attractive but not risk-free. The benefits are stronger diversification, better earnings visibility, and a balance sheet with surplus cash. The downside is that acquisitions can pressure margins, and dependence on government contracts means regulatory or tender-related issues can hurt sentiment. On balance, BLS looks value-creating if management converts growth into stable returns and avoids overpaying for expansion.#WatchOutFor#EquityResearch#HiddenGems#FundamentalViews
