LODHA
LODHA has emerged as a standout in India’s realty space, with strong sales momentum, rising profits, and controlled leverage making it attractive for shareholders. At the same time, its rich valuation means the stock may reward investors only if growth stays strong and execution remains sharp.
In FY26, the company reported revenue of ₹16,676.2 crore, up 21.02%, and profit of ₹3,428.2 crore, up 24.01%. In Q4 FY26, revenue rose 11.58% year-on-year to ₹4,713.5 crore, while profit climbed 9.35% to ₹1,007.9 crore. Quarterly pre-sales touched ₹5,890 crore, up 23%, with collections at ₹5,230 crore, up 18%. For the full year, pre-sales reached ₹20,530 crore, up 16%, while collections stood at ₹15,160 crore, up 5%.
For shareholders, these numbers are clearly positive because they show demand strength, better cash generation, and operating discipline. The company also kept net debt under control at ₹5,380 crore, with a net debt-to-equity ratio of 0.23x, which reduces balance-sheet risk. That kind of leverage is useful in a cyclical sector like real estate, where cash flow visibility matters a lot.
The concern is valuation. The stock trades at 5.24 times book value, and return on equity is 13.8% over the last three years, so the market is already pricing in a lot of optimism. If project launches, bookings, or collections slow down, the share price can react sharply. So, the business looks fundamentally strong, but the stock may be beneficial only for investors who are comfortable paying up for quality and growth.#EquityResearch#FundamentalViews#WatchOutFor#TrendingSectors
