Sammaan Capital: Poised for Growth with Strategic Backing
Sammaan Capital, formerly Indiabulls Housing Finance, offers home loans primarily between ₹15 lakh and ₹30 lakh, along with Loan Against Property, corporate mortgage loans, lease rental discounting, and residential construction finance.
In October 2025, International Holding Company (IHC) acquired a 41.2% stake through preferential allotment, investing ₹8,850 crore and becoming the major promoter. This acquisition is reshaping the company, promising a reduced cost of funds by 200 basis points that could boost profits significantly.
The company is focusing on an asset-light business model and retail segment, aiming to expand its product range over time while keeping mortgages at the core. Sammaan plans to scale its loan disbursals from ₹15,000 crore annually to ₹35,000 crore by FY27 and intends to open over 500 branches within 2-3 years.
