INDIGO
IndiGo is facing major nationwide disruptions as hundreds of flights have been cancelled due to a sudden shortage of pilots and crew after stricter flight duty-time rules increased mandatory rest hours. This has led to chaos at major airports like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and even Lucknow, where passengers faced long delays and last-minute cancellations. The DGCA has stepped in with inspections and has temporarily relaxed some night-duty restrictions to help the airline stabilise operations. IndiGo has stated that normal flight schedules are expected to return only by February 10, 2026, as it rebuilds crew availability and adjusts to the new regulations.
