Infosys

INFY
In Q1 FY2026-27, the company reported a 12.2% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹7,769 crore, while revenue grew 14% YoY to ₹48,211 crore, reflecting continued strength in deal execution and AI-led digital transformation services. However, management reduced the upper end of its FY27 constant-currency revenue growth guidance to 3.0% from 3.5%, citing a cautious macroeconomic environment and slower discretionary IT spending by global clients. Infosys also announced Ashiss Kumar Dash as CEO-designate, with a planned leadership transition after Salil Parekh's term ends in March 2027. Following the results, the stock witnessed some selling pressure as investors focused on the trimmed guidance despite healthy earnings growth and improving AI revenue contribution.
