Tata Steel – Fundamental News Update: Tata Steel’s fundamental picture remains positive on the India side, while overseas operations continue to face challenges. In Q1 FY27, consolidated revenue rose 14.3% YoY to ₹60,794 crore, while consolidated EBITDA increased to ₹9,370 crore and reported PAT rose around 19% YoY to ₹2,385 crore; India remained the key earnings driver, with India EBITDA reaching ₹9,908 crore. Tata Steel India’s domestic deliveries grew 11% YoY to 4.85 million tonnes, while high-end automotive and special-product sales increased 21%; branded products such as Tata Tiscon and Tata Steelium also recorded strong growth. A major long-term positive is the board-approved 4.8 MTPA expansion at Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) with an estimated investment of ₹33,873 crore, aimed at increasing Tata Steel’s presence in high-margin branded long products and benefiting from infrastructure and retail demand
