YES Bank — Latest UPI & Digital Payment Developments
1. YES Pay Next has added “MyUPI”
YES Bank’s official YES Pay Next app now includes MyUPI, positioned as a single window for UPI payments, mandates and related support services. The app also supports UPI transfers, merchant QR payments, RuPay credit-card payments on UPI, UPI Lite, AutoPay and UPI cash withdrawal.
2. YES Bank remains a major UPI infrastructure player
In its investor presentation, YES Bank said it processed roughly 1 in 3 digital-payment transactions in India, with its UPI business ranked #1 as a payee PSP and #2 as a payer PSP based on the cited November 2025 industry data. This is important because YES Bank's UPI opportunity is not limited to its own consumer app; it also earns from the broader payment ecosystem and partnerships.
3. Kiwi–YES Bank Credit Line on UPI partnership
Kiwi launched “Kiwi Postpaid”, a credit line on UPI in partnership with YES Bank. Kiwi said it aims to onboard at least 5 million users over five years across credit-on-UPI and credit-card-on-UPI products. For YES Bank, this creates another channel to participate in the growing credit + UPI ecosystem.
4. New UPI features from NPCI could expand YES Bank's digital ecosystem
NPCI recently launched Tap & Pay and MyUPI, including transaction replay, payee information, user controls and automated chargeback processing. YES Bank's YES Pay Next already has MyUPI integration, so these developments can improve the functionality and customer-support layer of its UPI platform.
5. YES Bank is also participating in newer UPI-linked infrastructure
NPCI's latest financial-inclusion initiatives include Credit Line on UPI for KCC/PM-MUDRA and new assisted cash services. YES Bank is among the participating banks in the new AePS three-party cash-deposit ecosystem.
