Cochin Shipyard Collaboration with Korean Shipbuilding Major

has signed a broad MoU with South Korea’s HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) to foster long-term collaboration in various aspects of shipbuilding. KSOE, a global leader in marine engineering, manages major shipyards like Hyundai Heavy Industries and is renowned for building commercial vessels, naval ships, and offshore structures. The agreement focuses on jointly pursuing new shipbuilding projects in India and internationally, sharing technical know-how to meet global standards, boosting productivity, and optimizing capacity. Both parties will also collaborate on workforce development and explore further shipbuilding-related ventures.
