ENGINERSIN
: Strong Fundamentals and Strategic Diversification

ENGINERSIN
(EIL) is a compelling tactical investment, offering a combination of limited downside risk and significant growth potential from emerging sectors. The company’s strong financial position, robust order book, and strategic diversification make it a promising bet in the capital goods space. → Solid Financials and Execution: EIL started fiscal 2026 with an improving outlook, supported by its record order book of nearly ₹12,000 crore, which provides revenue visibility for the next three to four years. In Q1 FY26, revenues surged by 40% year-on-year, driven by strong consultancy demand and project momentum. Profitability remains healthy, with operating profits up 41% and an EBITDA margin of 8%. The consultancy business, a core strength, maintains margins of around 17%, with management confident of a 20-25% margin in the medium term. → Strategic Diversification Beyond Hydrocarbons: A key growth driver is the company’s diversification away from the cyclical oil and gas industry. Nearly 40% of the current order book comes from non-hydrocarbon segments, including a landmark entry into the nuclear sector with a contract from NPCIL. EIL is also securing new orders in clean energy, infrastructure, and international markets. Year-to-date, it has secured almost ₹950 crore in international orders, with the Middle East being a strong market. → Conservative Guidance and Attractive Valuation: Management has set a conservative revenue growth target of 15% for FY26, leaving room for positive surprises. The company’s strong balance sheet, with a cash balance of over ₹1,100 crore and consistent dividend payouts, further reduces risk. With a reasonable valuation of around 15 times FY27 estimated earnings, the stock appears attractively priced given its clear earnings visibility, ongoing diversification, and solid financial health.
