Norton’s Executive Exit Amid Global Expansion Push

Nevijo Mance, Executive Director overseeing product design, engineering, and supply chain at Norton Motorcycles, stepped down in April 2026 for personal reasons. He was not asked to leave by leadership. Streamlined Leadership Structure: Following Mance’s departure, co-Executive Director Richard Arnold remains to handle downstream functions like sales, marketing, and after-sales service. No immediate replacement director has been appointed to the board. Phased International Rollout: The leadership change coincides with Norton's preparation to begin retail operations across key markets, including the UK, Europe, India, and the US, supported by already-established dealer agreements. Significant Turnaround Investment: Since acquiring the British motorcycle brand in 2020 for ₹153 crore, parent company $TVSMOTOR . has absorbed nearly ₹2,000 crore in losses to rebuild operations, infrastructure, and the brand's global presence. Aggressive Growth Targets: TVS aims to establish 200 dealer touchpoints globally for the 2026 season, with long-term plans to scale annual volumes to 20,000 units in the ultra-premium segment alongside competitors like Triumph and BMW.
