and Greece’s national carrier AEGEAN have formed a codeshare partnership, pending regulatory clearance, to significantly expand their flight networks and offer seamless travel options between South Asia and Europe. → Network Expansion and Benefits: This partnership allows both airlines to sell tickets on each other's flights, integrating their networks. AEGEAN will enhance its reach into India and the broader South Asia region. IndiGo customers will gain increased access to AEGEAN’s extensive domestic Greek and wider European routes. → New Direct Routes: IndiGo plans to launch direct flight services to Athens (from Delhi and Mumbai) in early next year, utilizing its maiden Airbus A321 XLR aircraft. AEGEAN has also announced new services to India, starting with five weekly flights to Delhi and subsequently three weekly flights to Mumbai, by March 2026. → Codeshare Specifics and Passenger Convenience: AEGEAN's flight code "A3" will be added to numerous destinations across IndiGo's Indian and South Asian network. Conversely, IndiGo’s "6E" code will be placed on AEGEAN's domestic and European flights operating from its main hub in Athens.
