delivered broad-based growth across its key business segments. Transportation, which contributes the majority of software development services revenue, grew 2% sequentially in constant currency terms. Media & Communications rose 3.4%, while Healthcare & Life Sciences grew 3.5%, supported by new deals and project ramp-ups.
What matters here is not just the revenue growth, but the return of operating leverage. The margin improvement suggests that efficiency gains were strong enough to offset salary revisions, a key concern after the sharp fall seen in the previous quarter.
However, the headline may not fully capture the remaining challenges. Revenue is still 14.5% lower year-on-year in constant currency terms, indicating that the recovery is not yet complete. Demand from European auto OEMs remains uncertain, Healthcare revenues are concentrated among a few clients, and increasing AI spending across enterprises could divert budgets away from traditional engineering and R&D services.
The company is investing in AI-led offerings and partnerships, but investors should watch whether these investments translate into meaningful revenue growth rather than only adding to costs. Management expects stronger growth in H2FY27, making deal execution and project ramp-ups the key variables over the next few quarters.
The market has welcomed the improvement, but sustaining growth and margins will be more important than a single quarter's rebound. At around 26x FY28 estimated earnings, continued execution will be essential to justify further re-rating.
View: Improving fundamentals are encouraging, but investors should look for sustained revenue recovery and margin expansion before assuming a durable turnaround.
