TTKPRESTIG
Faces Headwinds and Outlines Turnaround Strategy 📉

Financial Performance and Market Challenges:

TTKPRESTIG
's stock has dropped nearly 25% over the past year due to a trifecta of muted demand, intense competition, and shrinking margins. The company's consolidated EBITDA margin plummeted to a multi-quarter low of 6.6% in the June quarter, while sales saw a meager 3.6% increase. The company's profitability is also under pressure from aggressive pricing strategies by regional competitors. Strategic Investments: To combat these challenges, TTK Prestige has allocated ₹500 crore in capital expenditure for FY26-28. This investment is split between ₹200 crore for R&D, marketing, and brand-building, and the remainder for capacity expansion and automation. The company hopes these initiatives will drive double-digit revenue growth and restore margins to the mid-teens. Dual-Brand Strategy: The company's growth plan involves a two-pronged approach. The Judge brand is targeting the value-conscious segment in Tier-II and Tier-III towns with aggressive pricing and wider distribution, which led to a 43% growth in FY25. Simultaneously, the core Prestige brand is focusing on the premium market through exclusive stores, e-commerce, and modern trade channels. Outlook and Recovery Timeline: Management anticipates the benefits of their strategic investments to become visible from Q4FY26. However, some brokerages, like ICICI Securities, are more cautious, expecting a longer recovery period, with benefits only materializing in H2FY28. The company is banking on a positive festive season and a pickup in urban demand, although rural sales remain under pressure. The current stock valuation is considered high given the subdued earnings performance and the expectation of a gradual turnaround.
