Reports Stellar Q2 Results with 130% Profit Jump and Major Expansion Plans

→ Waaree Energies Ltd reported outstanding financial results for Q2FY26, with consolidated Net Profit (PAT) surging 130% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹871 crore. The company's Total Income grew by nearly 70% YoY to ₹6,226.54 crore. → EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) soared by 155.29% YoY to ₹1,567.30 crore, with margins sharply improving to 25.17% from 16.76% in the prior year. → Production volume in Q2FY26 reached 2.64 GW, supported by newly commissioned operations, which included an additional 3 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Chikhli, Gujarat. → Waaree holds a robust order book of around 24 GW, valued at approximately ₹47,000 crore. → The Board approved a massive additional capital expenditure (capex) of ₹8,175 crore to significantly expand its manufacturing capacity across multiple segments. → Key capex plans include an ₹8,000 crore investment to expand storage cell and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity from 3.5 GWh to 20 GWh. → Other expansions cover increasing electrolyzer manufacturing from 0.3 GW to 1 GW and inverter manufacturing from 3 GW to 4 GW. → The company is actively pursuing acquisitions, having completed the purchase of a 64% stake in Kotsons Private Limited to grow its transformer business. → Waaree also acquired the assets of Meyer Burger in the US for $18.5 million and is moving to acquire a 76% stake in Racemosa Energy (India) Private Ltd for its advanced metering portfolio.
