, a leading global player in the water treatment sector, delivered a strong Q1 FY26 performance, with a 17% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated revenues to ₹734 crore. This growth was driven by solid execution and a healthy order book. → Q1 FY26 Financials: Revenue: Consolidated revenues grew by 17% YoY, with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) segment leading the way with a 22% YoY growth, outpacing the EPC business's 14% growth. Profitability: EBITDA came in at ₹96 crore, an 18% increase YoY, with margins maintained at a healthy 13%. The company’s strong O&M revenue share, which contributes over 20% to the total, helped support these margins. Net Profit: Consolidated net profits increased by 20% YoY, resulting in a 9% net profit margin, driven by efficient execution and a favorable business mix. → Order Book and Future Pipeline: Order Book Strength: As of Q1 FY26, the order book stood at ₹15,750 crore, which is well-diversified across EPC and O&M, municipal and industrial clients, and domestic and international markets. The company targets maintaining an order book equivalent to three times its revenue. New Orders: During the quarter, Wabag secured new orders worth ₹2,600 crore and was designated as the preferred bidder for projects valued at over ₹3,500 crore, creating a strong pipeline for the future. The industrial segment is becoming increasingly significant, with its order book growing by a remarkable 134% YoY. → Strategic Outlook and Growth Drivers: Domestic Market: Increased government investment in water infrastructure, along with ESG initiatives and stricter environmental regulations, is accelerating industrial water reuse, creating significant opportunities for the company.
