Lenskart Rallies 4% After Singapore Arm OKs KRW 3bn (₹18.6 Cr) Bet for 29.24% in Korea’s iiNeer to Build In‑House Optical Equipment

LENSKART
shares rose about 4% after it disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary, Lenskart Solutions Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), approved an investment of KRW 3 billion (~₹18.6 crore) to acquire a 29.24% stake in South Korea’s iiNeer Corp. iiNeer focuses on technology-enabled eye-testing and lens-cutting/lens-edging equipment, and Lenskart said the investment supports building proprietary capabilities that can lift operating efficiency and lower equipment capex over time. The Korea investment update follows another overseas move disclosed earlier in the week: Lenskart Singapore’s acquisition of 50% of Marco Optical (Thailand) / Sunrise Thailand, creating a 50:50 joint venture with Matt Optical. Trading activity also picked up, with ~1.35 million shares changing hands (about ₹63.55 crore), and the stock’s market cap cited at ~₹80,324 crore as of December 26, 2025.
