Technical Analysis Avenue Supermarts (DMart)

The stock

DMART
is trading in a short-term consolidation after correcting from the ₹4400 zone. The stock is currently around ₹3975 and has been forming a base near the ₹3900–4000 range. Selling pressure has reduced compared to earlier but the stock is still trading below its recent swing highs indicating that the broader trend remains neutral to slightly bearish. A breakout above the immediate resistance is needed to confirm fresh bullish momentum. The immediate support is placed at ₹3900–3850 where the stock has repeatedly attracted buying interest. If this zone breaks the next major support lies around ₹3700–3650, which is a strong historical demand area. On the upside, the first resistance is at ₹4100–4150, followed by a stronger resistance at ₹4300–4400. A decisive close above ₹4150 with strong volume could trigger a move towards ₹4300 and higher. The stock is currently in a range-bound phase. Short-term traders should wait for a breakout above ₹4150 before initiating fresh long positions. Existing investors can continue holding as long as the stock remains above ₹3850. A breakdown below this level could lead to further weakness. Conclusion: Avenue Supermarts is showing signs of stabilization after a healthy correction. The technical structure will turn more positive only after a strong breakout above ₹4150 with good volume. Until then the stock is likely to remain range-bound with ₹3900 acting as a key support zone and ₹4150 as the immediate hurdle.
