Titan Q1 FY26: Profit Surges 53% YoY, Jewellery Leads Growth

TITAN
delivered a strong performance in Q1FY26, with net profit jumping 53% YoY to ₹1,091 crore and total income rising 21%. Jewellery, Titan’s core business contributing over 80% of revenue, grew 19% YoY despite high gold prices and a dip in the studded jewellery mix. Demand remained resilient, especially from wedding-related purchases. However, EBIT margins for the jewellery division were impacted by gold price volatility. The watches segment posted 24% YoY growth, led by strong analog watch sales and the addition of 9 new stores. The EyeCare business grew 13%, with sunglasses outperforming prescription eyewear during the quarter. Titan’s Emerging Businesses — including fragrances and wearables — recorded 35% YoY growth with income of ₹108 crore. Meanwhile, Titan Engineering & Automation Ltd (TEAL) saw a 56% YoY increase in revenue, reflecting growing momentum in the industrial solutions segment. Analysts had expected 15% YoY revenue growth and a 25% jump in profit, but Titan outperformed on both counts. While rising gold prices and US tariffs pose short-term risks, the company’s upbeat performance across segments highlights its diversified strength. Investors now look to Titan’s outlook on the upcoming festive and wedding seasons, which are likely to be key demand drivers in the coming quarters. Lets see the opening Price Action
