HATHWAY
Hathway Cable & Datacom has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing a positive performance in key metrics. The company declared a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs 6.55 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 50.92%. Additionally, the Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs 31.03 crore, marking a robust increase of 63.8% compared to the previous year. Net sales for the quarter also hit a high of Rs 530.50 crore, the best performance in the last five quarters. However, the financial results also highlight some concerns. A substantial portion of the PBT, specifically 83.74%, is attributed to non-operating income, which totaled Rs 33.73 crore. This reliance on income from non-business activities raises questions about the sustainability of the company's financial model indicating caution among analysts regarding its future performance. Overall, while Hathway Cable has demonstrated strong growth in several areas, its dependency on non-operating income may pose challenges moving forward.
