HBL Engineering, a small-cap player in the auto components and equipment industry, has reported a positive financial performance for the quarter ending June 2025. The company declared its financial results on August 9, 2025, showing significant growth across key metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 173.98 crore, marking a remarkable increase of 107.8% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which stood at Rs 83.71 crore. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) surged to Rs 145.58 crore, reflecting a growth of 109.7% over the previous four-quarter average of Rs 69.41 crore. Net sales also hit a five-quarter high at Rs 601.77 crore, up 22.4% from the average of Rs 491.80 crore in the prior quarters. Operating Profit (PBDIT) reached Rs 191.87 crore, with an operating profit margin of 31.88%, the highest recorded in the last five quarters, indicating improved efficiency. However, the company reported a non-operating income of Rs 19.64 crore, the highest in five quarters, which may not be sustainable in the long term.
