The increase in open interest alongside rising prices often points to fresh buying interest or the addition of long positions by traders. However, the weighted average price data indicates that a larger volume of trades occurred closer to the day’s low price, which may imply some profit-taking or cautious positioning amid the rally. The stock’s moving averages present a mixed picture: it trades above its 5-day, 20-day, and 50-day averages but remains below the 100-day and 200-day averages, signalling that while short-term momentum is positive, longer-term trends may still be under consolidation. Investor participation, as measured by delivery volumes, has shown a decline of 14.49% against the five-day average, with 18.4 lakh shares delivered on 10 July. This drop in delivery volume could indicate that a portion of the recent activity is speculative rather than driven by long-term investors. The stock’s liquidity remains adequate for sizeable trades, with a 2% threshold of the five-day average traded value supporting trade sizes up to ₹8.48 crore.
