HINDALCO

Hindalco Industries Ltd saw the stock retreat from recent gains, reversing a three-day upward trend. The stock closed the day approximately 3.13% lower, underperforming its sector, which itself declined by 2.38%. This contrasts with the broader Sensex index, which opened 98.38 points higher and maintained a positive stance, trading up 0.24% at 75,579.41 by mid-session. Despite the intraday weakness, Hindalco remains positioned near its 52-week high, trading just 2.94% below the peak of ₹1,105.05. The stock continues to trade above key moving averages, including the 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day averages, signalling that the longer-term technical indicators remain supportive even as short-term pressures mount.
