KNR Constructions has reported a significant decline in its financial performance for the quarter ending June 2025. The company declared its results on August 11, 2025, revealing a sharp drop in key financial metrics. Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 612.72 crore, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 37.79%, marking the lowest sales figure in the last five quarters. Profit Before Tax (PBT), excluding other income, also saw a substantial decline, falling to Rs 119.18 crore, down 43.62% year-on-year and representing the lowest PBT in the past five quarters. Profit After Tax (PAT) decreased by 28.5% year-on-year, amounting to Rs 123.41 crore. The company's operating profit, measured as PBDIT, was recorded at Rs 182.95 crore, the lowest in five quarters, indicating a negative trend in operational efficiency. Additionally, the operating profit to interest ratio dropped to 3.78 times, highlighting a deteriorating ability to manage interest payments. Earnings per share (EPS) fell to Rs 4.39, reflecting declining profitability and reduced earnings for shareholders.
