Maruti Suzuki India Ltd analysis on different parameters

MARUTI
Quality :- Maruti Suzuki India Ltd continues to demonstrate a solid quality profile, supported by consistent operational metrics. The company’s return on capital employed (ROCE) for the half-year period stands at 18.05%, which, while modest, remains a key indicator of its asset utilisation efficiency. However, quarterly operating profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes (PBDIT) has reached a low of ₹4,313.30 crores, signalling some pressure on core earnings. Valuation :- The valuation metrics for Maruti Suzuki remain attractive relative to its sector peers. Despite the recent downward revision in the stock’s evaluation, the company’s price levels appear to offer value considering its large-cap status and established market presence. This valuation attractiveness is a notable factor in the overall assessment, balancing some of the concerns arising from operational and technical parameters. Financial :- The financial trend for Maruti Suzuki has been largely flat, with limited growth signals in recent quarters. The company’s earnings have shown signs of stagnation, as reflected in the flat financial grade assigned during the latest evaluation. This is further corroborated by the stock’s performance over various time frames: a 1-month return of -6.19%, a 3-month decline of -17.09%, and a year-to-date drop of -31.54% as of 16 October 2026. Technical :- The technical grade for Maruti Suzuki is currently bearish, reflecting a cautious market sentiment. Despite a marginal positive change of 0.09% on the day of reporting, the stock’s short-term and medium-term price trends suggest downward pressure. This technical perspective aligns with the broader challenges faced by the company in maintaining momentum amid a competitive automobile sector environment.
