POLYCAB

On 4th March 2026, Polycab India Limited disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, that the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Income-Tax, Mumbai, issued an assessment order for the financial year 2023-24, raising a tax demand of Rs. 327.45 crores due to disallowances and additions of Rs. 41.87 crores under Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Polycab believes the demand is inflated due to computational errors and has initiated rectification under Section 154 of the Act while also planning to appeal against the order. The company, in consultation with tax advisors, does not anticipate any material impact on its financial position or operations due to this order.
