Senco Gold, a small-cap player in the gems, jewellery, and watches industry, has reported a positive financial performance for the quarter ending June 2025. The company declared its financial results on August 12, 2025, showing significant growth in key metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 121.93 crore, marking a remarkable increase of 198.7% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 104.65 crore, reflecting a growth of 162.8% over the same period. The operating profit margin also improved, reaching 10.05%, the highest in the last five quarters. Net sales for the latest six months amounted to Rs 3,203.99 crore, representing a year-on-year growth of 26.08%. The company's earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 6.39, indicating enhanced profitability for shareholders. Additionally, Senco Gold's debt-equity ratio has decreased to 1.05 times, the lowest in the last five half-yearly periods, suggesting a reduction in borrowing relative to equity. However, the company faced challenges with rising interest costs, which reached Rs 42.98 crore, and increased non-operating income, which may not be sustainable.
