Suraj Estate Developers, a small-cap player in the construction and real estate sector, has reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, declaring a net sales figure of Rs 169.85 crore. This represents a significant growth of 51.3% compared to the average net sales of Rs 112.28 crore over the previous four quarters, marking the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters. However, the company has faced challenges in profitability metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) stands at Rs 24.04 crore, reflecting a decline of 26.8% from the average PBT of Rs 32.85 crore in the preceding four quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) has decreased by 18.3%, now reported at Rs 19.98 crore, down from an average of Rs 24.45 crore. Additionally, the operating profit has reached its lowest point in five quarters at Rs 45.82 crore, with an operating profit margin of 26.98%, indicating a deterioration in the company's efficiency.
