Bharti Airtel reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 58,539 crore, up 18.4 percent YoY, and the stock rose over 3 percent on 5 August. The Q2 FY27 result is due around October 2026, but I could not confirm a date in any source. Two sources also disagree on the Q1 profit, so the profit figure is not settled. Q1 FY27 (quarter to June 2026): Revenue: Rs 58,539 crore, up 18.4 percent YoY, in both sources Net profit: Rs 9,903 crore, up 34.9 percent (Univest), or Rs 8,167 crore, up 37.3 percent (Business Standard) ARPU: Rs 264 a month, up 5.6 percent YoY (Business Standard) Bharti Airtel [

][***** closed at Rs 1,879.00 on 16 October on StockGro, up 3.2 percent from Rs 1,820.23. At 38.9 times trailing earnings, against a sector P/E of 19.9, the price sits well above its sector, so the next result carries more weight than usual. My view: hold, not a fresh entry. Growth is steady, but the profit figure is unsettled and the valuation is high against its sector. Fresh money waits for the Q2 FY27 result to show profit growth in line with Q1, and a close back at or below Rs 1,820.23. Without both, no fresh money. My exit is a close below Rs 1,703.06, the 52-week low on the StockGro overview. Disclosure: Vijay Kumar Gupta, SEBI Registered Research Analyst, INH000020226, Vijay Gupta Advisory.
