Bikaji Foods International Ltd – Company Overview

BIKAJI
Bikaji Foods International Ltd is one of India’s leading ethnic snack and packaged food companies, known for its deep roots in traditional Indian flavours. The company was founded in 1986 in Bikaner, Rajasthan, by Shri Shivratan Agarwal, a descendant of the founder family of the original “Haldiram” brand. Over the decades, Bikaji has evolved into a modern FMCG company with a strong product portfolio across namkeen, bhujia, sweets, papad, frozen snacks, and packaged foods. Business Model and Focus Bikaji operates on a large-scale manufacturing model with extensive distribution reach across India and growing international markets. The company follows an asset-light distribution structure, focusing on expanding its dealer network and strengthening brand visibility. Its core business lies in traditional Indian snacks and sweets, catering to both domestic consumers and the Indian diaspora globally. Bikaji emphasizes product innovation, regional taste adaptation, and premium packaging to stay competitive in the organized snacks market. The company’s brands — particularly Bikaji Bhujia, Bikaji Namkeen, and Bikaji Rasgulla — are widely recognized across northern, western, and eastern India. It also exports products to more than 30 countries, including the US, UK, UAE, Australia, and Singapore. Financial Performance Bikaji has demonstrated steady revenue growth driven by strong demand for traditional packaged foods. In FY24, revenue crossed ₹2,200 crore, supported by volume growth and increasing market penetration. The company maintains healthy EBITDA margins in the range of 10–12%, reflecting operational efficiency despite rising raw material costs. Profit after tax (PAT) has also shown consistent growth due to disciplined cost management and brand-led premiumization.
