SUZLON
Suzlon is an Indian renewable energy company focused primarily on wind power (wind turbine manufacturing, project execution, and operations & maintenance). Its headquarters is in Pune, Maharashtra. It is a vertically integrated wind turbine company: it designs and manufactures key components (blades, towers, nacelles, control systems), plus handles project planning, installation, and post-installation servicing (O&M). Over the years it has had a global presence, with installations in several countries. Financials & Key Metrics (Recent) The stock currently trades around ₹ 54 per share (this fluctuates). The P/E ratio is relatively elevated (~35× or so). The Price-to-Book multiple is also high, reflecting market optimism relative to its book value. The company reportedly is “almost debt-free” in its recent profile. In recent quarters, Suzlon posted a sharp surge in net profit (year-on-year) — in one quarter, profit rose ~ 365%. The company is not currently paying significant dividends. Strengths Strategic alignment: Suzlon is well-placed in the growing renewable energy / green transition theme in India and globally. Vertical integration helps control costs and reduces dependency on external suppliers. Strong recovery momentum: recent results have shown strong earnings growth, which boosts confidence. Reasonable debt profile (reduced leverage) strengthens financial stability.
