Syrma SGS Q1 FY27: PAT up 112%, near ATH at 88x P/E

Syrma SGS Technology Limited reported Q1 FY27 results for the June 2026 quarter. PAT more than doubled; the stock is up 103% in a year. Q1 FY27 numbers (consolidated): Revenue: Rs 1,604 crore, up 67% YoY; EBITDA Rs 162 crore, up 69%; margin 10.1% PAT: Rs 106 crore, up 112% YoY from Rs 50 crore; PAT margin 6.6% Order book Rs 6,770 crore; Rs 5,400 crore executable within 12 months ODM revenue Rs 270 crore, up over 100%; exports Rs 387 crore, up 61% Management reaffirmed 35% plus FY27 revenue growth, EBITDA margin 10.5 to 11%. A Rs 1,000 crore QIP is planned. PCB facility targets commercial production April 2027. KAGA Electronics JV adds Japan distribution. SEMICON India 2026, which began 17 September, drove a 7% sector-wide rally in the stock yesterday. Syrma SGS Technology [$SYRMA][***** shares trade at Rs 1,680.43 (18 Sep 2026, 10:29 AM IST), up 103 percent in a year, near the Rs 1,704 all-time high. P/E 87.9; sector P/E 47.86. My view: the operating delivery is real. Revenue doubled in two years, ODM and exports carry structurally better margins, and the order book covers over four quarters at the current run rate. The problem is the price. At 88x, one soft quarter, a margin miss or QIP dilution compresses the multiple hard. Near an all-time high at 88x, fresh entry means buying the thesis, not a number. The PCB commissioning in April 2027 and consistent 11 percent EBITDA margins are the triggers that earn the current multiple. Levels: Rs 1,520 to 1,550, the 10 and 20-day support zone; Rs 1,704 the all-time high; below Rs 1,520 re-enters consolidation range.
