This launch marks TVS’s leap into a high-performance scooter category aimed at tech-savvy urban riders. 2. Record-Breaking August Sales August 2025 proved to be a milestone month for TVS, with domestic two-wheeler sales soaring by 30% year-on-year, reaching over 500,000 units for the first time. Motorcycles and scooters both saw robust growth—motorcycle sales rose ~30%, and scooter sales climbed ~36%. This surge underscores the company’s strong market demand and operational efficiency. 3. Electric Scooter Expansion with the Orbiter TVS has expanded its EV line-up with the launch of the Orbiter, positioned as an affordable, entry-level electric scooter priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom). It joins the iQube in the brand’s growing EV portfolio and is available in multiple variants and color options. 4. Nomura Upgrade Boosts Market Sentiment Following the NTORQ 150 launch, global brokerage Nomura upgraded TVS’s target price, citing the compelling product pipeline across both ICE and EV segments. Investors are increasingly optimistic due to the company's innovation focus and expanding EV presence—this has led to increasing attention on the stock.
