NIFTY CHART ANALYSIS - POST CLOSING COMMENTARY

Nifty ended the week on March 27, 2026, with a significant drop of 486.85 points (-2.09%), closing at 22,819.60. The index plummeted below the psychological level of 23,000, erasing gains from a brief two-day rally as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and record lows for the rupee dampened sentiment. Nifty could not break the trend line resistance and is trading below its 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs).
