On the weekly chart ending May 22, 2026, Nifty 50 closed flat to slightly positive at 23,719.30 (+0.3%), confirming a mid-term sideways consolidation structure inside a narrowing triangle pattern. Nifty is trading below 20, 50 and 100 Week EMA and 200 Week EMA is acting as a support. Weekly RSI (14): Hovering in a neutral trajectory between 40 and 50. It is in a consolidation phase and a RSI break out below 40 or above 60 levels we may see a trending market. MACD histogram is still below zero but is losing strength.
