Sensex Outlook for 12-Oct-2026 Looks Range Bound

Sensex closed at 72,472.33, gaining 879.09 points (+1.23%) on Friday. This rally successfully snapped an nine-week losing streak. The longest run of weekly declines for Indian markets. The Daily MACD Histogram is below zero and Hourly MACD Histogram above zero indicating a tug of war between buyers and sellers. The Daily RSI 14 is below 40 levels and Hourly RSI 14 has crossed and closed above 50 levels. Even this indicates and tug of war between buyers and sellers. Thus the overall trend of Sensex looks to be in a range, and thus the markets might move either side. Buy on dips and sell on rise would be the best strategy to deploy for today’s market considering the overall trend of Sensex. We may expect a change in trend only if the price sustains below the support level or above the resistance level. I have provided Sensex Spot resistance and support levels which would help you learn in taking informed trading decisions using these levels and understand how support and resistance levels work in financial markets. Sensex Spot Resistance 1 - 72925 Resistance 2 - 73060 Support 1 - 72165 Support 2 - 72070 Happy Learning, Happy Trading and have a wonderful day Top Gainers : ITC, TCS, ADANIPORTS.
